Imagination runs wild as the eyes feasted on the forbidden

Growing up as the only Chinese family in a Malay kampung, the artist's sense of isolation and longing is palpable. One of her pastimes was to look through the spaces of the fence and salivate at the ripened fruits of the neighbor’s garden. Her imagination ran wild and constructed various objects as her eyes feasted.
